Gift Card Holder

For Christmas I gave my SIL a Stampin' UP! gift certificate, but needed a way to wrap it for her. I got this tin at Hobby Lobby (they sell them for their gift cards) and needed to alter it so that the Hobby Lobby logo didn't show. I used the soon to retire Winter Bright Simply Scrappin Kit and some Real Red Ribbon. No Stamping!! Easy Peasy!

I would love for you all to leave me a comment and let me know what great stamping stuff you got for Christmas! I got a 12x12 paper rack, some photo albums and a Hobby Lobby gift certificate. Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by!

I'm Baaaack!

Hi! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted, but in addition to getting ready for the holidays, my husband and I were involved in a custody battle for my step-daughter. I'm excited to announce that we got full-custody of her. So everything has been a huge whirlwind this month, but it looks like things may be calming down some now. I have a card to share with you. This one is my submission for today's sketch challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.

Recipe:
Stamps: Like it a Latte & Pick a Petal
Paper: Whisper White CS, Chocolate Chip CS, Urban Window
Ink: Chocolate Chip, White Craft
Accessories: Build-a-Brad, Fairy Tale Ribbon Originals

I tried stamping on the ribbon, but it was really hard to read so I re-stamped it on a piece of So Saffron CS and added it over the original stamp. Also, I used my new coluzzle for the circles, I don't know how I ever lived without it!

I have a card for yesterday's color challenge on SCS but I'll save it for tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

I Like It a Latte

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! We've had family visiting from Ohio so I haven't had much time for stamping so I'm going to share some projects that I completed a while ago. These are a set I created for a friend. On the card I used I Like it a Latte. On the hot chocolate I tried the scratch and sniff technique with cocoa powder, but the smell doesn't work too great. On the foam I used white flocking and I love the way it turned out. I used sanded for the background and sponged real red on the edges. For the candle I used a toffee scented candle that I picked up at the Dollar Tree and used I Like it a Latte on it also. Thank you for looking and I hope to more for you after my company leaves.
